Anything Goes!

This year, while the auditorium is being built, the CG spring musical will be held in January at Crystal Lake South. Since the timing is weird and AD2 will not be happening yet, the job of designing the spring musical publicity falls squarely on the shoulders of you six.   I am asking you each create a poster for the musical that could potentially be turned into the poster, the program and/or the cast and crew tshirt.

The musical is Anything Goes.
It is set in the 1930s on a cruise ship. The plot includes many characters, which you can read about here if you'd like.  The show was on broadway in the 30s, 60s, 80s and recently in 2011.

We can't use it.

So- I would advise you research travel posters from the 1930s. If you haven't ever seen these before, I hope you are in for a treat.

Research color palettes and fonts too.

Mr B is liking the Broadway publicity and loving the retro poster aesthetic like these above.
