Week of September 15th

Hello!
This weekend was chock full of art for me- if you have a Chicago trip in your future, check out some awesome things happening down there right now...

Opening Sept 23rd- Museum of Contemporary Art  "David Bowie Is"

or at least check out the front stairs with text from song lyrics...

and the Magritte exhibit at the Art Institute is pretty awesome as well. Did you know Magritte started in advertising and design? 

Should've known from his hand writing...

This week we will start a couple of larger jobs that all of you will partake in.

1. National Arts & Humanities Month

Ash is working on a poster promoting the entire month. Here is what she has so far...

I need posters promoting Visual Art, Music, Performance & Literature

2. CG Musical, "Anything Goes"

Since the musical is in January this year I will not be giving this job to AD2, the work falls on the few of you!

We have no logo to go off of this year, so design is wide open (but we can't use any previously used images)

I will get you specific info soon, but spend time researching publicity for Anything Goes and retro travel posters. There are some awesome design inspirations out there!!
